At Trafford Alternative Education Provision we recognise the huge positive impact of students experiencing the world of work and engaging with employers. We are committed to providing every student with at least one encounter with an employer in every year, and to ensuring that all students experience at least one workplace visit by the time they leave Year 11.
We are always looking for businesses and companies to join the TAEP Careers Network. This will be a registry of parents, staff friends and family, businesses and companies, and local employers who have agreed to be contacted about careers events and visits at school. The school has already established links with organisations such as Sale Sharks, Dassault Systems, Health and Social Care, National Grid company and Amazing Apprentices.

We’d be very happy to hear from companies who might be able to send someone to speak to some our students about what they do, or offer a demonstration of their business, or allow us the opportunity to bring a small group of students to visit. This would not be a huge commitment, but it will make a large difference to our students.
